Layton Barker

Hometown: Mebane, NC

Layton was an active member and leader in several campus organizations, including the Business Honors Program, Pi Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society (Treasurer), and the Actuarial Science Club (Recruiting Chair). In addition, Layton also worked as a Consolidation Analyst Intern at SABIC Innovative Plastics and a private Math Tutor. During the summer of 2014, Layton participated in a study abroad program in Zurich, Switzerland, studying insurance. In his free time, Layton enjoys playing tennis and soccer: he has played on the UNC Charlotte Intramural Champion teams in 2014 (outdoor) and 2016 (indoor).
