Hunter Ball

Hunter is a first-generation college student and the oldest of eight children, coming from the rural town of Bryson City in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Energy Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in the energy industry, specifically in improving renewable energy technologies or power grid reliability. On campus, Hunter is involved in the 49ers Racing Formula EV Team serving as the Powertrain Team Lead, as well as being a member of Charlotte Christian Students. In his free time, he enjoys playing the saxophone, hiking, kayaking, and watching motorsports.
