Bryan Lopez Villanueva

Bryan is a first-generation college student from Smithfield, NC that is majoring in International Business and Finance. He hopes to drive change in the corporate world helping increase accessibility to opportunities to professionals and students of all backgrounds, particularly those from marginalized communities. Bryan is passionate about serving the community and is actively involved on campus. He serves as the President of the LatinX Student Union, a community service-based student organization with 180+ members that focuses on serving LatinX students and the greater Charlotte Community. He also participated in the 2022 Charlotte Venture Challenge, a pitch competition hosted by Ventureprise (UNC Charlotte’s entrepreneurship department). He and his partner pitched their idea for “Operation Education”, an organization aimed at serving as a central hub for all resources for first-gen students, and ended up winning Grand Prize! During his spare time, Bryan loves to learn about international cuisines and often has dinner nights with his friends and family.
