Misty Morin

Hometown: Hayesville, NC

Misty was an active member and leader in several campus organizations, including the University Honors Program, Earth Club, Health Occupations Students of America, 49ers for Bernie, and Niner Hunger Relief. During the spring of 2017, Misty participated in UNC Charlotte’s Semester in Spain study abroad program located in Santander, Spain. While there, Misty took several excursions around Spain and also managed to travel to Paris and Rome. Additionally, she participated in the honors study abroad program: City as Text International, where students visited Dublin, Edinburgh, and London. In her free time, Misty enjoys reading, photography, hanging out in a hammock, and traveling. Misty has been accepted into two Master’s programs in Linguistics, but plans to defer these offers to become an English Teaching Assistant in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain through the Fulbright program.
